The TRUCK

Well, here it is!! The newest acquisition.......a pick-up truck for the retired guy!!! And a RED one, no less!! We have often talked of having a truck and I figured Thomas needed a new toy for his retirement. It will sure come in handy and keep us from borrowing Chris's truck so much!! He's enjoying it and already has hauled some lumber in it.

For those of you who have so faithfully kept up with Shelby's health issues with your care and concern and who have responded when I have asked for prayers for Annika and Natalie, the "liver family" has suffered a loss. Haley, aged 11, died Saturday night. I can't tell you just what kind of liver disease she had but she has been waiting for a transplant. She suddenly took ill and died. She had quite a voice and spirit and had written several songs. Jenn has the cd for the girls and one song is "The Dirty Rotten Liver Blues." Please keep Haley's family in your prayers. When these realities hit, it's tough. Scott and Jenn are also dealing with the death of a close friend of Scott's from a car accident. Keep them and Todd's family in your prayers, also.
