Where does time go? Or, why does it go so quickly? All these things I was going to do this summer and...oops....summer's almost over. I did get a bit side-tracked the end of July. My Mom was here visiting and she fell and fractured her right shoulder. Well, when you are right-handed and you can't use that arm any longer, you need help. SO, we began the process of doctoring and healing and helping her dress, bath, eat, etc. Those major things you need two arms and hands for. Thank goodness she likes to read. After a week of buying books, it was off to the library to get a library card for me. Each week we have returned to set in a new supply. She's been able to spend time watching William and the girls, something she ordinarily doesn't get to do. And we've gone on a few excursions. The last couple of weeks there's been therapy to do. In fact, she is doing quite well and not even wearing her sling apparatus anymore. I'm not having helping her do things for herself either. She could actually be back home, but need to have another visit with the doc this coming week. Her 10 day vist will be close to 2 months before we finally get her back home.
